Lumos began on the streets of Boston.

It's where we first fell in love with cycling as a way to get around. Except, it always felt like we were putting our lives into someone else's hands every time we went on the road. We always felt that people (more importantly, drivers) didn't see us, especially during the night.

Built together with the community, we created Lumos because we were trying to solve a problem that we were all experiencing in our own lives.

Little did we know, thousands of people would tell us how we solved their problems and helped them feel safe. That's how we knew we were on the right track.

So here's to our community, and we'll only get better as we aim to create a world for all of us to move smart, and stay safe.
